Serve CDC to purchase uniforms for the Kenderton Eagles baseball team. Called To Serve’s President Rev. Michael Major is employed at SIG as a Senior Technology Analyst. The uniforms, for the 15 member team, were purchased for $1000 and were delivered to the school on Tuesday, April 23rd. In addition, Dr. Michael Johnson of Miriam Medical Clinic, a partner of Called to Serve, performed physicals for the entire team at no charge. The five employees from SIG were Tom Considine, Steve Watson, Frank Mann, Michael Mollen and Matt Gutberlet. In addition, another SIG employee, Rob Stack, donated baseball equipment. “This latest collaboration between the employees of Susquehanna International Group is just another example of when companies and individuals work together it can have a great impact on not just the lives of our youth, but on the community as a whole,” Rev. Major said. This is a continued effort on Called To Serve CDC’s part to impact the lives of Nicetown/Tioga youth and the greater Philadelphia area at-large.
